Obituary for Brandon Blackstock Reveals Partner Brittney Marie Jones

The official obituary for Narvel Brandon Blackstock, who died on August 7 at the age of 48, has shed light on his life in Montana and his relationship with Brittney Marie Jones. Blackstock, a talent manager and former husband of singer Kelly Clarkson, passed away after a three-year battle with melanoma.

According to the obituary, Blackstock had found a “homestead and a love in Butte, Montana.” It described Jones as his “beautiful and loving partner in life and business” and credited her with helping him build his legacy, including Headwaters Livestock Auction and the Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana. The obituary noted that after more than two decades in the music industry, Blackstock had returned to his desired cowboy way of life.

The news follows an announcement that Blackstock passed away peacefully at his home in Butte, Montana, while in hospice care and surrounded by his family. His son Seth Blackstock and ex-wife Melissa Ashworth remembered him on social media, with his brother Shelby Blackstock also sharing a tribute. A celebration of life is scheduled for August 17, and in lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Brandon Blackstock Memorial Fund.
