Recently, at Disneyland in California, a female visitor in her 60s suddenly fell ill while riding the classic haunted house attraction, “The Haunted Mansion.” It is suspected she suffered a heart attack and unfortunately passed away. Police have stated that their initial analysis points to a medical emergency, and the attraction was operating normally with no faults discovered.
At around 6:30 PM that evening, local fire and rescue services received a report of an unconscious female guest inside Disneyland. Upon arrival, park staff had already begun administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The woman was then transported to a local hospital by paramedics, where she was later pronounced dead.
Police have indicated that the woman likely died from a heart attack, but the exact cause is still pending investigation.
A Disneyland spokesperson noted that “The Haunted Mansion” is a slow-moving attraction featuring ghosts and eerie scenes, but it contains no gory or terrifying elements and is suitable for guests of all ages. The park’s officials also emphasized that the attraction is operating normally and has since reopened.
