Kraken Beat Blackhawks 3-1 Behind Eberle and Beniers’ Two-Point Nights, Extend Point Streak

On November 4th, the Seattle Kraken hosted the Chicago Blackhawks at Climate Pledge Arena and defeated their opponent 3-1, extending their recent good form, thanks to excellent performances from Jordan Eberle and Matty Beniers, both of whom contributed a goal and an assist.
In the game, Jamie Oleksiak also scored a goal for the Kraken, helping the team extend its point streak to five games (3-0-2 record). Goaltender Joey Daccord was solid, making 29 saves throughout the game, serving as a vital defensive backbone for the team.
For the Blackhawks, AndrĂ© Burakovsky broke Daccord’s shutout bid in the third period, scoring the visiting team’s only goal. Goaltender Arvid Soderblom made 21 saves on 24 shots faced.
The Blackhawks attempted a comeback after falling behind 0-2. Connor Bedard carried the puck along the right wing boards and delivered an accurate pass to Burakovsky in the slot, who scored with a five-hole wrist shot at 11:33 of the third period to pull the Blackhawks within one. Notably, Burakovsky played for the Seattle Kraken for the previous three seasons, and Climate Pledge Arena honored him with a video tribute midway through the first period. With this goal, he also extended his personal point streak to four games, totaling three goals and three assists during that span.
