Apple Inc. has confirmed its annual fall event will take place on Tuesday, September 9, where the company is expected to introduce the new iPhone 17 lineup. The keynote, titled “Awe dropping,” will be streamed live from the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation and leaks from various sources, including media reports and carrier documents, which had pointed to a September release. While the event will showcase the iPhone 17 series, including a rumored new ultra-thin “Air” model, it is also expected to feature new Apple Watch models and updated AirPods.
The event, which begins at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET), marks the official start of Apple’s fall product season. Following the keynote, pre-orders for the new devices are anticipated to begin on Friday, September 12, with the official release date for the first wave of products set for Friday, September 19.
