On September 25, 2025, Moonshot AI’s intelligent assistant Kimi launched its new Multi-Agent product, “OK Computer,” and initiated a gray-scale test. Based on the “model as an agent” concept, “OK Computer” can independently complete complex tasks such as website development, data analysis, and multimedia generation by operating a virtual computer system, providing users with a one-stop intelligent solution. Concurrently, Kimi has introduced a membership-based pricing model, setting a goal of achieving approximately $100 million in revenue from both domestic and international C-end markets within a year.
Core Features: “Agent + Virtual Computer” for Complex Task Processing
The core capability of “OK Computer” lies in its fusion of an “agent + virtual computer.” Users only need to issue commands, and Kimi can utilize various tools through its built-in virtual computer environment to perform operations like website development, data processing and visualization, image and video generation, and high-quality PPT creation. The capabilities of “OK Computer” are primarily based on Kimi’s self-developed K2 model. The Kimi K2 model is a 1T-parameter, 32B-activated MoE architecture model that excels in dimensions such as autonomous programming, tool calling, and mathematical reasoning. According to official information, the model, optimized through training, can efficiently process long texts (up to 2 million characters) and multimodal tasks, further breaking the single-task processing limitations of traditional AI assistants.
Commercialization: Dual-Core Pricing System and Membership Tiers
With the launch of “OK Computer,” Kimi has officially established a dual-pricing framework centered on “Task Automation” (OK Computer) and “Deep Researcher,” creating differentiated services. To advance commercialization, Kimi has simultaneously launched a membership subscription system with three tiers:
Adagio (Free Tier): Offers basic usage allowances, suitable for light users;
Andante (49 yuan/month): Increases usage allowance and includes an equivalent API exchange voucher;
Moderato (99 yuan/month): Supports higher-frequency usage and concurrent operations, meeting professional demands.
However, even for paid members, usage of the two core functions is still subject to usage limits. An insider revealed that the primary reason is the high cost of running the model, with a single “Deep Researcher” conversation costing 4-5 yuan. To lower the barrier for users, “OK Computer” offers a “3 free trials, then pay-as-you-go” mechanism. Users who previously tipped can receive an equivalent (rounded up) membership duration as a reward.
Currently, “OK Computer” has entered the gray-scale testing phase, with priority for the first batch of experience given to past tipping users. For ordinary users, accessing Kimi’s official website currently does not grant access to the “OK Computer” feature or allow for membership top-ups. It is expected that Kimi will gradually roll out the “OK Computer” feature in the future.
