Elon Musk said in a podcast that he plans to launch an instant messaging app called “X Chat” in the coming months to compete with Telegram and WhatsApp. “X Chat” uses a peer-to-peer encryption system, somewhat like Bitcoin, with very strong encryption. Currently, “X Chat” is undergoing comprehensive testing. Elon Musk stated that the app will have no “advertisements”.
