According to Russian media reports, Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov provided U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna with copies of declassified Soviet-era files related to the assassination of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy on the 14th.
The report stated that Ambassador Antonov met with the Republican congresswoman from Florida that day and handed over the relevant documents collected from the Russian State Archives. The report did not specify the contents of the documents.
Anna Paulina Luna confirmed the news on social media on the 14th, stating that she had received a total of 350 pages of documents from the Russian side.
John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, was assassinated and killed in Dallas, U.S., in November 1963. For more than 60 years since Kennedy’s assassination, speculation surrounding the case has never ceased. U.S. President Trump signed an executive order in January, requiring relevant U.S. agencies to declassify all remaining files related to the Kennedy assassination case.
